Luis Suarez - I will put my best to win with Liverpool
The new signing of Liverpool, Luis Suarez, has claimed that he will use all his efforts to make his tenure at Liverpool a successful one.
Luis Suarez, who penned a five-and-a-half-year deal with the Merseyside club after completing a £23million move from Ajax, has an amazing goals-to-game ratio with 111 goals to his name in 159 matches.
While the 24-year-old’s sensational goal tally in the Eredivise does not guarantee success in the English Premier League, Suarez is determined to prove his mettle in the rigours of the Premier League.
The Uruguayan striker claimed that his ultimate aim is to demonstrate his abilities in front of Liverpool fans and his first target is to play as many games as possible in the Reds colours.
"My ambitions for the future are to do my very best for Liverpool, to try to learn more about English football and to become a champion. Liverpool is a very famous club, the most famous club in England, and I watched Liverpool and English football as a boy. It's a dream to be able to come and play here”.
Luis Suarez, who was a vital member of Uruguayan World Cup squad, praised his former club, stated that he had a wonderful time in Netherlands and claimed that he would miss Ajax.
Moreover, Ajax’s Managing Director, Rik van den Boog, has also hailed Suarez’s contribution to the club and said that the Uruguayan has all the attributes to be a world class striker at Liverpool.
"Luis is going to bring the place alive because he is a street fighter. He arrived here with a decent reputation but he was not a big player then. In the dressing room he soon stood up and became a leader”.
